One waits in vain for a "moo" when you press our cow on the tummy or turn it on its head. And it won't walk by itself when you twist a
lever, and it won't jingle and jangle with its over-sized eyes. No, none
of our figures can do that.
But watch a child when it is alone and playing with the figures. See
how the cows run across the field and how the horses neigh happily when they're let out of the stall in the morning. See how loudly
the geese chatter as they follow the goose girl to the nearby pond.
How is all that possible?
It is the fantasy of our children alone that breathes life into the seemingly stiff wooden figures, the form and color of which purposely
have been reduced to an essential minimum. It's apparent how
little coaching our children need to dive into their worlds. We go to
great lengths in shaping and crafting each individual figure so as to
preserve this fantasy world and thereby to give children the ability
to draw on their creativity during play.

One of our most important principles is to make sure that our
toys are in harmony with nature,
both in terms of the material used
and in the process of crafting
them.
The expressive forms and colors
chosen give the figures their
distinctive character.
The attractiveness of all the figures
can be attributed to their simplicity
of design and the use of softly
cut edges and color application to
capture the typical form and move-
ment of each figure.
Thus, the child is encouraged both
to recognize the world around
it and to draw on fantasy in play.
